I am attending under protest! I am not as old as I am! For non Facebook people, I have been in Cincinnati since 1966 when I finished one year at Akron U, the next 3 at Miami (Ohio, Go Redskins!); MBA at U of Michigan (Go Blue!). Married to my college sweetheart, Kathy, since 1967; 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren (we won the most grandhcildren contest in BHS 30th reunion); 43 years in financial services (Metlife 18; Ohio National 25) and retired just before anyone had ever heard of Bernie Madoff, subprime mortgages or great recession. (Timing is everything). Now aggressively retired/re-purposed). Nicknamed "Gates" since Phi Tau days at Miami. 2nd & 42nd anniversary photos attached!!

We moved to a condo in Cincinnati 2 years ago, about 1/2 mile from daughter Natalie and her hubby Rich and their two boys. That is the good news. The not good news is that on March 30th my bride of 49 years, Kathy, transitioned into an Alzheimers special care unit here in Cincy. I am adjust ing to life as a husband living alone.I do see here daily sometimes twice a day. So life changes. I am on Facebook but an infrequent user. My daughters tag me and that is about all you will see. Looking forward to the 55th.

Update for 2017- Alzheimers is a cruel and terminal and as yet incurable disease. Kathy passed away on April 1, 2017, one year and one day after transitioning to an assisted living unit. We were Married 49 years and 9 months. Wonderful memories have sustained me and I have met a special friend who has brought a light back into my life. Awaiting the 60the reunion in 2021��
