Classmates

Looking forward to seeing old or for a better word-- former--classmates at our 55th Reunion! Be prepared, I've changed a lot since yesteryear.

Since 1966, I have been living in NYC even though I am a country girl at heart who desperately misses trees, flowers, rivers, lakes, the ocean, lightening bugs, a starry night sky. However NYC is filled with interesting people from so many diverse cultures and friendships are easily made, a consolation.

My early occupations were in glaucoma research, Vogue magazine, Harry Winston (jeweler), public relations, and finally real estate for the past 36 years. On the side I've partnered with a talented friend to make custom products for prominent clientele around the country. And beyond that, my camera is my sidekick and my passion is photographing cats, and for a long time I have been an active board member of the oldest camera club in NYC.

Traveling was once a passion too and something I do on a much smaller scale now. I circled the world many times during the 70's visiting and living in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and South East Asia and beyond, and I was lucky the dollar was then gold. Later, in 1992 I jumped in my convertible and took a 13 month drive around the USA and experienced the beauty of this vast country which I couldn't have imagined to be so grand.

So, I've had an interesting life, good friends and abundant good luck. And it all started in Akron, a wonderful place to grow up. So many fond memories of my childhood: first friend (Hi Nancy Lee Miles), King School kindergarden-1st-2nd grade, grade school and high school at Our Lady of the Elms and my senior year at Buchtel.
