This website is very well done. I'm pleased that the class of '61 is keeping up with the latest in website tech.

I moved back to Akron a little over three years ago. They say you can never go home again but this has worked and is a delight. I'm very proud of Buchtel then and today. All they need is kicker and it will be perfect.

Linda (Ellet High, 1965) and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and are very proud of the most recent addition to our family - Kelby, our 18 month old grandson. We have two sons, Mike (Kelby's dad) and Dan. They both are married to lovely women, Jennifer and Stacy, respectively. They both also live out of state and we enjoy visiting them.

While attending Akron U (BA, MA and JD), I began working at the Juvenile Court for Judge William P. Kannel. That experience changed my career plans and redirected me into social services. After 12 years at the Court (including a couple years in the Service, with one year in the RVN), I went to work for Summit County Children Services. Six years later, I applied for an opportunity to lead an agency - United Disability Services. 11 years later, Linda and I moved to Columbus to accept a position as executive director of Franklin County Children Services. More than 12 years later, after retiring, I was invited to apply back to Summit County Children Services, and was excited to do so. We have very much enjoyed being reunited with family and friends in Summit County. It's great to
be back.

We are very much looking forward to the Reunion.
